Cuba strengthens organisation and preparedness for enemy threat
This year’s International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties, hosted by the Communist Party of Cuba in Havana, concluded on August 8 with the closing session following two days of meetings.
A delegation from the Communist Party of Britain (CPB) was received at Cuba's Ministry of Public Health in Havana by Dr. Henry López Jimenez, Deputy Director of Public Health, a veteran of Cuba's Medical Brigades in Mozambique.
The 24th International Meeting Communist and Workers' Parties convened in Havana, Cuba. The meeting will be held from 7-8 August, coinciding with the centenary of Fidel's birth.

The European Communist Action issued a statement on the anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, emphasising the crimes of the USA. The statement has the subtitle "Against the backdrop of escalating imperialist warfare and nuclear threats against the peoples."
