Cuba strengthens organisation and preparedness for enemy threat

The volunteer groups of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) and the new fire truck of the Attica Party Organization of KKE joined the battle against the fire that broke out in Salamis.
On August 5, the Comprehensive Collective Reparation Plan (PIRC) of the Colombian Communist Party was approved. For the first time, under Law 1448 of 2011, a political party was recognized as a subject of collective reparation at the national level, as it was one of the political entities that suffered the highest number of deaths, along with the Patriotic Union, during the political persecution and violence that plagued the country.
South African Communist Party (SACP) celebrated its 105th anniversary and launched the Historic Manifesto of the SACP, delivered by General Secretary Comrade Solly Mapaila at TUT, Soshanguve Campus.

The following article appeared in the 107th issue of O Poder Popular, the journal of the Brazilian Communist Party (PCB). The author is Victor Hugo Arona, the National Secretary of Popular and Neighborhood Movements of the Communist Youth Union (UJC). The article discusses the issues with urban mobility under capitalism and the PCB's proposals for public transport, such as free fares (tarifa zero) and the nationalisation of transport services.
The closing activities of 100th anniversary celebrations of Fidel Castro’s birth on 13 August 2026, were held at Havana’s Karl Marx Theatre.
