On the first anniversary of the death (13/7/2025) of Ammar Baghdash, Secretary General of the Syrian Communist Party, his Party held an event abroad to honour him. 

The New Communist Party of Netherlands (NCPN) issued a statement condemning the defacement of the Soviet War Cemetery in Leusden.
