The Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia issued a statement about the Sudeten German Landsmannschaft Congress, to be held in the Czech Republic. It will take place in Brno from May 22 to 25, 2026. The Sudeten German Landsmannschaft was established after World War II on the initiative of a group of former supporters of fascist Sudeten politician Konrad Henlein and former Nazi party officials and has questioned the results of the defeat of German Nazism and the post-war order. The Sudeten crisis of 1938 was provoked by the demands of Nazi Germany, that the Sudetenland, a part of Czechoslovakia, be annexed to them, which happened after the later Munich Agreement.
