Cuba strengthens organisation and preparedness for enemy threat
The President of the United States has made new threatening statements against Cuba, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury has added new names of Cuban leaders, organizations, and companies to an illegitimate sanctions list.
In Jadavpur, India, the Jadavpur Station authority tried to demolish the shops of Jadavpur's hawkers, street vendors or itinerant traders who sell unbranded goods, fresh produce, or food directly to the public. CPI(M) stood in the bulldozers' way. They were forced to retreat.

Paulo Raimundo, General Secretary of the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP), issued a statement regarding the national strike held on the 3rd of June across Portugal. He hailed the general strike as a major demonstration of workers’ strength and unity against the government’s proposed Labour Package, which he said would deepen exploitation, weaken labour protections, and undermine fundamental workers’ rights.
South African Communist Party has shared the press statement of The Conference of the Left. The conference, which was held from May 29 to May 31, 2026, was entitled “Building a Left Movement for Working-Class and Popular Power.” In the declaration of the conference, the groups that are taking part committed to rebuild the organized power of the poor and working class.
Communist Parties fiercely condemned the subsequent attacks against CPI(M) leaders and members in Kerala.
Despite all efforts to block it, a conference entitled “This is how transfer is carried out: Palestinian communities under attack” was held in the Knesset, initiated by Hadash MKs Aida Touma-Suleiman and Ofer Cassif.
