A joint demonstration was organised on the 3rd of May at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, by Left parties—Communist Party of India (Marxist), Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (ML), Revolutionary Socialist Party, Forward Bloc, and CGPI. 

1st of May, International Workers' Day, was celebrated with demonstrations and parades across Asia. In many countries, workers, students, progressives and communists organized marches, mass rallies and demonstrations to mark the occasion.

In his speech at a discussion meeting organized by the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) on the occasion of the historic Khapra Ward Martyrs' Day, Kazi Sajjad Zahir Chandan said, "The brave martyrs of Khapra Ward fought and gave their lives to establish the rights of the workers and farmers. They dreamed of establishing an exploitation-free socialist state, and we must continue our fight to realize that dream and aspiration." 

The Communist Party of India wrote a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner of India, Shri Gyanesh Kumar, raising concerns over the allegations of massive voter deletions and fraud in India's West Bengal Province.

Hundreds of people gathered with red flags in Behala Chowrasta for the Assembly Elections from Behala Chowrasta to Thakurpukur, supporting the Left-nominated Communist Party of India (Marxist) candidate from Behala East, Niloy Majumdar, and the Left-nominated CPI(M) candidate from Behala West, Nihar Bhakta.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) strongly condemned the repression of factory workers in the industrial belt of Delhi NCR, accusing authorities in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh of deploying police force instead of addressing workers’ demands.
