NATO is not welcome in Ankara
NATO, the blood-stained organization of multinational monopolies and one of the greatest threats to our country’s independence and sovereignty, will hold a summit in Ankara on July 7–8.
The AKP government and the bourgeois rolled up their sleeves months in advance to welcome NATO leaders with luxury and extravagance. As part of these preparations, they demolished the residential quarters of the historic Ankara Sugar Factory — one of the landmark institutions of the Republic’s early industrialization and national development project — in order to build a landing strip for Trump’s plane. Already completed a VIP hall worth billions of lira and the bosses began waiting for the new tenders that would be handed to them…
Yes, they are preparing. But they are not the only ones in this country who have rolled up their sleeves and begun preparations ahead of the NATO summit.
The working class patriots, republicans, and communists of this country are standing up for their homeland and preparing to drive NATO — the world’s largest terrorist organization — out of our country.
In this context, the Communist Party of Turkey has declared the week of July 4–12 an ANTI-NATO SUMMIT. As part of this summit, conferences, exhibitions, and events will be organized, and our people’s anti-NATO resistance will be strengthened day by day.
In addition, a mass rally will be held in Ankara on July 5 as part of the ANTI-NATO SUMMIT.
We call on all working class patriots, republicans, and revolutionaries to strengthen the summit and the rally together.
Once again, we declare: we will drive NATO out of these lands.
This country is ours — down with imperialism!
