The Communist Party of Pakistan strongly protested and condemned the killing of 12 innocent labourers by state agency personnel, calling for the perpetrators to be arrested immediately “Instead of covering up this extremely serious, inhumane, and intolerable crime, the facts should be brought to light and strict action taken against all those involved.” said the statement.

Imdad Qazi, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Pakistan and the Convenor of the Popular Left Alliance, stated that these sorts of incidents were the result of leaving state institutions unchecked, giving them free rein and not considering workers as human beings. Imdad Qazi further protests that in the name of development, the state continued to evict a great many indigenous residents, fishermen, herders, villagers, and laborers from many towns across Balochistan.
Imdad Qazi further stated that due to the long-running security operation in Balochistan, the people of the region are suffering from fear, insecurity and insecurity. “Citizens, even women, are being disappeared day by day, youth are being killed in fake encounters, peaceful struggle organizations are being crushed, due to which there is intense hatred for the state and state institutions in Balochistan.” said Imdad Qazi. The CPP demanded that the rulers and responsible state institutions establish representative governments of the people in all federal units and adjoining states, including the federation, and through them, take the path to solving all the basic problems of the people.
Imdad Qazi has demanded that the facts regarding the latest incident in Gwadar be brought to light, that the criminals involved in the incident be given exemplary punishment, that the families of all the deceased workers be paid at least one crore rupees each as compensation by the state, that the injured workers be provided with quality medical facilities and that each injured worker be paid five million rupees and that the bodies of the deceased workers be taken to their native villages.
